Get to know Kayla

Born and raised in Louisiana, I’ve always been passionate about helping others recognize their strengths and build self-confidence. Growing up, sports were a huge part of my life. I played softball competitively for over a decade and still play co-ed leagues with my husband. The discipline, teamwork, and resilience I learned in sports now shape how I support my clients in therapy.

I specialize in working with children (6+), teens, and adults on challenges like anxiety, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and life transitions. My approach is direct, supportive, and empowering, blending CBT, trauma-focused interventions, and psychoeducation to help clients build self-awareness, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change.

Outside of therapy, my family and I love traveling, playing tennis, exploring Orlando’s farmers' markets, and spending as much time in the sun as possible, especially during crawfish season!

Therapy should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. I aim to create a space where you feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow. If you’re ready to take that next step, I’d love to work with you.
