a therapeutic children’s book

The Therapeutic Adventures of Buster and Bradley was written to fill a void I experienced as a child and family psychotherapist, in my therapy practice. I wanted a tool that I could use in my sessions as well as a resource to give to parents, caregivers, teachers, and other therapists outside of sessions that would be a catalyst to help children improve their own emotional intelligence, and empower them through a fun and psychoeducational experience.

Throughout the book, the characters model effective researched based interventions, healthy communication, emotional regulation tools and a growth mindset to aid the adult and child simultaneously.

I have added worksheets in the back of the book to continue the conversation and further build emotional intelligence, appropriate coping skills, and healthy emotional regulation.

This book is about connecting, learning, and growing with your child.

I hope you enjoy this tool!
